IN THE BEGINNING..........
On January 19, 1951 Gulf Beach Chapter was
instuted at the American Legion Hall on Gulf Blvd.
Paraphenalia was donated as follows:
Adah Chapter presented a check with which
to purchase a sword and veil.
Pinellas Park, U.D., presented a registration
book.
The Bible was presented by Brother Gene Nigels,
P.G.D.D.M.
The Grand and P.G. Officers filling the Instituting
Stations presented the respective badges of the office they filled.
The ballot bax was made and presented by Brother
and Sister Rudman.
Brother Ballard made the pedestals with Viola
Lancaster providing the materials.
Sister Lancaster presented the crown and scepter.
Sister Esther Bush presented the Marshal's
baton.
Sister Lennis Marshal, G.R. of S.C. in FL.
donated the Electa cup.
The meeting date was announced as the 1st
and 3rd Monday nights at 7:30 pm in the Church by the Sea.
THE CONSTITUTING..........
On April 28, 1951, Gulf Beach Chapter #241
was consituted in the Bethlehem Chapter Room.
Presiding were Sister Emma Saunder, W.G.M.
and Brother Alter Horne, W.G.P.
Members of Gulf Beach formed a semi-circle
outside the Labrynth and the Charter was read.
The A.G.M. Sister Emily Jefferies, bearing
emblematic flowers and the Grand Secretary, Sister Mildred Bean, bearing the Charter with the W.G.M. approached the Altar
where the Constituting Ceremony was read. All joined hands and the Chapter was then proclaimed duly Constitued.
